　　在学生通过阅读练习，了解了课文大意和一些具体信息的基础上，笔者利用课文概要填空法，即把课文缩写成概要，留出空格，让学生填出关键词。这既

　　能考查学生的语言知识，又能考查他们的理解能力，尤其可帮助学生更好的理解文章，培养学生归纳和概述的能力。

　　以这篇课文为例，学生根据课文内容，在空格中填入恰当的词。

　　这样整个课堂就处于一种真实的、交际性的氛围中。一方面学生各抒己见，说的时间大大增加，口语表达能力也得以提高，另一方面学生也加深了课文的理解。当然，一篇文章不只是通过泛读进行理解，英语的阅读能力是一项综合素质，它必须建立在丰富的词汇量，良好地语感和语法的基础上，而这些能力的培养。都来源于精读，因此在泛读之后，我都会要求学生精读，并给出明确的课后任务。
